An immersive journey to a parallel reality in a 360° videosphere
####The projected film takes place on Election Day of 2016. In one storyline, three best friends, stand together all wearing all white, as they take in a historical and victorious moment. In the alternate reality, they are raucous and tearful , yet united and resilient, as they dance the night away.
Spherescape is an interactive 360° film projected on an inside-out virtual environment display. Leveraging immersive projection and a custom blink-detection system, viewers are instantaneously teleported between alternative narratives in the blink of an eye, whether they intend to or not. The parallel narratives were carefully produced to follow matching timelines and camera angles, giving the viewer a true sense of opening their eyes in a familiar-yet-different reality.
